Officially done with Public School (for now)

Saturday, I filed the "paperwork" (online) with the state to remove my daughter from public school. She is officially a homeschooled 8th grader. I did this not because she is in trouble at school. She is not pregnant. She does not do drugs. I withdrew her from public school to better her education. She simply wasn't getting what she needed from public school. Rather than allowing her to fall behind and fail, we decided to be proactive and take charge ourselves.


Now we are on this crazy journey together of homeschooling through high school. We have tons of books on the way, and are looking forward to starting this new chapter in our lives together.
